Hankook Tire successfully concludes the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals

Seoul, Korea, November 18, 2024 — Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) has successfully wrapped up the 2024 season of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo racing series. The series, hosted by the Italian supercar brand Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., featured Hankook Tire as the exclusive supplier of racing tires. The season concluded with the World Finals, held on November 16-17.

The World Finals took place at the Jerez de la Frontera Circuit in Spain, featuring competitors from the European, North American, and Asian series of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, that ran from March to November. Drivers competed for the season championship title, drawing significant attention from motorsport fans worldwide.

Hankook’s high performance racing tire, Ventus, once again demonstrated its technological excellence by perfectly complementing the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 race cars. Throughout the season, Ventus provided outstanding grip and handling across diverse climates and extreme driving conditions worldwide, ensuring the competition’s successful operation.

After two days of intense racing, world champions were crowned across multiple categories. In the Pro category, Egor Orudzhev of ART-Line claimed victory. He was crowned World Champion after a fierce race in which he outlasted a stellar field of competitors.

In the Pro-Amateur, the Leipert Motorsport team took the title by finishing first in both races, while Renaud Kuppens of Bousten VDS won the Amateur category. Holger Harmsen of GT3 Poland triumphed in the Lamborghini Cup category.

Looking ahead, Hankook Tire plans to continue its successful promotion of its flagship high performance tire brand Ventus into the 2025 season. Starting in March with the U.S. leg of the competition, the races will span Europe, Asia, and North America, further reinforcing Hankook’s premium brand image on the global stage.
