Seoul, Korea, August 16, 2023 – The fourth round of ‘Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Series’, sponsored and supplied by Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) and hosted by Italian supercar brand Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A, opens at the Inje Speedium in Gangwon State on August 18th and 19th.
This round in Korea holds distinct significance, representing the successful partnership between a global top-tier Korean company and an international supercar brand. Hankook Tire invests in R&D resources, such as securing supercars of various brands for research purposes, and based on actual tests performed, the company gathers data to ensure quality tire technology optimized for high-performance vehicles.
Based on the data and technology accumulated, Hankook Tire has expanded its ultra-high-performance tire portfolio through partnerships with Lamborghini and other supercar brands, further solidifying its position as a global premium brand.
Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series is a one-make championship with a single model, the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2. A total of three series, each with six rounds, visits four continents - Asia, Europe, North America and Australia - followed by the Grand Finals to end the season.
Starting this season of ‘Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series’, Hankook Tire is the exclusive racing tire supplier, contributing to flawless rounds with its high-performance racing tire ‘Ventus'. The fourth round of the Asia Series will be held in Gangwon State, Korea at the Inje Speedium - a 3.91 km circuit featuring a dynamic up down racecourse with a maximum height difference of 40 meters - capturing the attention and excitement of motorsport fans around the world.
